YouTube stages music awards, Julie Andrews makes rare appearance
YouTube has announced that it will stage its own music awards, to be hosted by Jason Schwartzman. The event will honor the top songs and artists that were viewed on the website in the past year. Lady Gaga, rapper Eminem and Arcade Fire will be headline performers at the event, which will take place in New York on November 3.<br/> <br />Julie Andrews made a rare red carpet appearance in Los Angeles for the Walt Disney Concert Hall's 10 Year Anniversary. The "Sound of Music" star posed for photos and spoke with the media. She was joined by Hollywood icon Jane Fonda, Oscar-winner Helen Hunt, and actor William Shatner.<br/> <br />James McAvoy hit the London premiere for his film 'Filth," based on Irvine Welsh's novel. The dark comedy follows McAvoy's character as a sex-obsessed police officer struggling to cope with his wife leaving him. "Filth" hits UK theaters on October 4.
