Now for a look at other stories making headlines around the world…<br />At least 17 people have died in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where health officials have confirmed an outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus.<br />For more on this and other international we return to our Ro Aram… <br />Aram… what's the latest?<br /><br /> Semin… Congo's health ministry on Tuesday confirmed two cases of Ebola in the central African country. <br /> They come nearly ten months after the end of an earlier outbreak.<br />The ministry said two out of five samples from patients in Bikoro in the northwest came back positive after laboratory testing. <br />The tests were carried out after 21 patients displayed signs of hemorrhagic fever in the area.<br />At least 17 deaths in the region over the past five weeks are suspected to be linked to the outbreak, but have not been confirmed as Ebola cases. <br />The ministry has described the fresh outbreak as a public health emergency with international impact.<br />However, it said that since the notification of the cases on May 3rd, no deaths have been reported among those hospitalized or among health personnel. <br /> The World Health Organization will be giving one million U.S. dollars to Congo and will send a team of experts to Bikoro on Wednesday to help contain the virus. <br />Ebola is contracted through bodily fluids and can cause multiple organ failures. <br />
