Tanzania President Magafuli seeks second term

We will know in a week's time who their new president is. 60-year-old President John Magufuli is seeking a second term in office. Over 20-million voters cast their ballot in elections overshadowed by allegations of vote rigging. The main opposition party claims there have been irregularities in the vote, an accusation dismissed by the National Electoral Commission.
