SOUTH AFRICA - Forced marriages still a reality in South Africa
<p>In South Africa, people are increasingly questioning some of the country's traditional customs. One of the most controversial is ukuthwala: the practice of abducting young girls and forcing them into marriage, often - but not always - with their parents' consent. It's most prevalent in rural areas and the girls involved are frequently under-aged.
