Monica Rose - Black Rose
The bitterness of night fills the air.
People scream that life isn't fair.

It just seems like nobody cares.
I'll just stay here a cast a pair.

Black roses fill my garden.
It seems like somebody died.

Really no one died.
Yet....

Stubborn parents say no more.
You've ripped my heart to the core.

Emptiness casts inside my head.
When I lurk I need to be fed.

Swarming people circle around.
Its like I am a freak show.
Without a clown...

So I sit here today...
To tell you my story.
About the day I died. It'll only be a couple short stories...

You placed a black rose across my heart.
And left me a note ripped apart.

It was the first letter I sent you.
Telling you that I love you

Now I am dead.
You have an empty bed.

I'll leave a black rose there.
Until your dead.

Monica Rose

http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/black-rose-27/
