Kenyan independence fighters struggle for recognition

On Thursday, Kenya will celebrate 50 years of independence. <br /> <br />But thousands of people who fought for that freedom still languish in poverty and neglect, with many of them still struggling for recognition and compensation. <br /><br />Al Jazeera's Catherine Soi reports from Nyeri in Central Kenya.
