Google chairman defends YouTube hosting anti-Islam film

It's the film that has sparked protests throughout the Muslim world ... and even violence, and today Google's Executive Chairman explained why the video is still on the company's YouTube site.<br/> <br />Eric Schmidt.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: GOOGLE'S EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN ERIC SCHMIDT SAYING:<br/> <br />"We obviously do not endorse the use of the video or these ideas to incite hatred or violence or anything, but we ultimately believe that the best answer to speech is more speech, not the other way around."<br/> <br />Google-owned YouTube has refused to removed to 13 minute anti-Islam film despite pressure from the White House.<br/> <br />In Seoul to promote Google's new tablet computer, Schmidt acknowledged they have made exceptions.<br/> <br />SOUNDBITE: Google's Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt saying:<br/> <br />"Some countries disagree. There are some cases where we have had to actually block access to that video. And it is a good example of this particular problem."<br/> <br />The video isn't available on their sites in Egypt, Libya, and other Mulsim countries.
